Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, from Beaumont Puy in Domme. Audrey Tautou's parents, who are a dental doctor as well as a teacher at school were supportive and encouraged by her passion for acting as well as theatre. Her initial dream to become a master monkey was eclipsed by her wish to study theater and drama. Early success and a rapid rise in fame made her a promising young actor. Following her graduation, she participated in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers that was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her career as an actress. Tautou was raised in an Catholic home, and was a member of the religious services, despite having attended school in the Institut Catholique de Paris. She has pursued a modeling career along with her acting career. She is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel often referred to as The Chanel Muse. In the past, during Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival she exhibited the collection of her photographs with the title Superficial. Her photographs is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. Cameras are focused on journalists who examined her during her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's debut part, playing Amelie Poulain's lead actor in Le Fabuleux d'Amelie Poulain, brought her international stardom. Amelie has been an international box office success and has been lauded at numerous award festivals around the globe. It remains the highest grossing French language film to date in the US. The success of this movie led Tautou to a variety of roles, ranging from British dramas such as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
